It is built for autumn through mild winter. Over a jumper it handles a proper cold snap; over a shirt alone it suits milder autumn days.
Why does it start at M?
This style is graded from M upward. If you normally take an S, the M will read as a relaxed fit rather than oversized.
Will it fit over a jumper?
It will. The body and sleeve are cut with layering room, so a mid-weight knit underneath will not pull across the back or shoulders.
