Will it fit over a shirt?
It will. The body is cut with layering room, so a collared shirt underneath will not pull across the back or shoulders.
Will the knit pill?
Some surface pilling is normal on wool blends in the first few wears. A cheap fabric comb removes it in seconds and it settles down after that.
Can I wash it at home?
Hand wash cool or use a wool cycle inside a mesh bag.
