Can I exchange an item for a different size?

Of course. Contact us with your order number and the size you need, and we'll take care of the exchange.

How long does a refund take?

Women's oversized cardigan sweater

The Ruth is a relaxed, oversized cardigan with a clean button front and a collegiate-inspired letter patch at the chest. It layers effortlessly over a white tee and jeans — the kind of combination you reach for without thinking. Whether you're running errands or settling into a weekend at home, it earns a spot in the regular rotation fast.

Why the Ruth oversized cardigan works for your wardrobe:

Oversized Relaxed Fit: Drapes comfortably without clinging or pulling
Button-Front Cardigan: Classic closure you can wear open or closed
Ribbed Knit Construction: Structured texture that holds its shape all day
Contrast Trim Detail: Navy edging adds a sharp, finished look

Make the Ruth your go-to cardigan for layering season.

Looking After It

Hand wash cool or use a wool cycle inside a mesh bag. Reshape while damp and dry flat — never hang wet knitwear. Cool iron under a cloth if needed.

Full measurements for every size are in the Size & Fit panel on this page — switch between inches and centimetres there.

Questions, Answered

Will it fit over a shirt?
It will. The body is cut with layering room, so a collared shirt underneath will not pull across the back or shoulders.

Does it hold its shape?
Ribbed cuffs and hem keep the edges from stretching out. Dry it flat rather than on a hanger and it keeps its line.

How warm is it?
It is a mid-weight knit — right on its own indoors, and a good mid-layer under a coat once it turns properly cold.

Size Guide

Find your fit.

Our pieces follow standard US sizing. If you're between sizes, choose the larger size for outerwear and knitwear and your usual size for dresses. The Size Finder on every product page gives you a personal recommendation in seconds.

Every piece is made from carefully selected materials. Please follow the care label inside the garment. As a rule of thumb: wash knitwear cold and dry it flat, and have tailored outerwear professionally dry cleaned to keep its shape for years.
