The short puffer jacket with a faux-fur-edged hood and thumbholes

This short puffer jacket stops at the waist, cut straight and square. The body is quilted in wide horizontal tubes over a thick insulating fill, and the fixed hood is edged all around the face with a wide band of long, soft faux fur, in the same shade as the jacket on Powder Pink and White, tawny on Black. The zip rises to the chin, the sleeves end in long ribbed thumbhole cuffs that cover the back of the hand, and a wide ribbed band tightens the hem at the waist. Two pockets slip into the side seams. A puffer jacket with faux fur hood in Powder Pink, White or Black.

How to wear it

Over a white ribbed top and raw straight jeans, zipped with the hood down, it marks the waist and lengthens the leg; with the hood up, the faux fur frames the face. Open, it falls short and neat over the top. The thumbhole cuffs replace gloves on windy days. This is the warm puffer jacket for the urban winter, with black ankle boots.
